Hi Caleb. I stopped in Le Mars today and looked at your layout. Brain informed me of the club and showed me the layout. I have started my own layout in my basement and might have a few questions.
Timmy, Timbo. Timothy… I stopped by a couple months ago and one gentleman was very kind to show me around the layout. You guys have your work cut out. I loved every part of that layout simply because its set so that the audience can watch the trains go by from a distance. The weathering of the freight box cars was outstanding. I have a layout in my basement and am really trying to be as prototypical as the real world. I noticed you guys have a big staging track or freight yard that could really serve several functions. Classification Staging, Storage and Interchange. The attention to detail is pronounced and i was inspired by the layout. A lot of potential lays in that layout. Bravo keep up the good work. You can be sure i will stop by again. I understand you guys are switching from DC to DCC. Is that a Dakota Minnesota and Eastern train ?
