Flyer S gauge guys...What cab number atlantic do i have?

So my dad had an atlantic set as a kid. I bought an atlantic dirt cheap with a broken and painted boiler shell. I have no way to know the cab number. The engine has the straight group of wires to the tender(not a plug in like the early engines). 3 position reverse in the tender, smoke choo-choo, and pullmor tires. Knuckle couplers. Any ideas? I’d like to find the correct boiler if anyone can help. Thanks in advance. Oh yeah, plastic reading tender, and it also has a headlight.

Does it have the drum type reverse unit or is the reverse unit mounted on the motor? My guess is if it is from the 50’s it is a 302 or a 303 if a drum type unit.

Does it look like this:

303

or this

302

Jim

Jim,

He stated the engine has knuckle couplers so that would leave out the 302 with the link couplers.

Earl - Thats right, 302 - '48 - '53; 303 '54-'55. Also the 302 did not have pullmore traction tires. I’d say he has the 303.
