installed foam roadbed on my layout and adheres well to the foam base i have. even when i have to adjust the roadbed after a mistake , it’s easy to move around and re fasten w/ normal white glue. speeds up the process for getting your track laid.
But will the foam on foam hold nails?
No, it won’t. You have to glue the track down. But, as a converted “foamer,” I’m in agreement that the combination of foam base and foam roadbed is easy to work with. It’s not to bad to remove and re-use the track, either, but you’re probably going to have to toss the foam roadbed if it’s been down a while and the glue is set hard.
