I just heard on the radio that the bat Babe Ruth used to hit the first home run in Yankee Stadium history was sold for $1.26 million at Sotheby’s[:0].If paying that much$$$ for a hobby item isn’t foaming,I’d like to know what is!

That kind of money can restore at least two E-Units to good running condition including the paint job! Or better yet after restoring the bodies, swap out the 567 diesels, and install a single rebuilt 2,000 horsepower 645 series diesel in each locomotive!
