Foldable layout

Hi: I,m looking for plans in order to build a foldable layout.

Does anyone remembre any article published about this kind of layouts?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

Are you thinking of folding like a ping pong table? Will help the more knowledgeable folks give you better answers.

There is currently a post on a Murphy bed layout that folds into the wall. At the moment it is on the same page as this. Might have some information for you. (I haven’t read it.)

You could also go to the top of this page to RESOURCES, then click on Magazine Index. That will give you access to articles from many magazines for over half a century.

In the right hand column of this page scroll down to Search our Community and you can search these forums for information.

Good luck,

Richard

Content removed due to a completely fucked up and incompetent Kalmbach customer service.

Like M.C Fujiwara’s little summer shelf switching layout (http://cs.trains.com/TRCCS/forums/t/195425.aspx), which can be folded into a small box for transport ?

Thanks for posting the link, Stein.

My “box” is just a double-jointed variation on Byron Henderson’s folding switching layout.

Iain Rice also had that nifty shelf-top shadow box with “wings” that folded up on top.
