Follow Up Question: Power Supply for Walthers 130' Turntable

I asked in a previous thread (that isn’t coming up via search) about a 15 volt AC power supply “Wall Wart style” for my new Walthers 130’ Turntable…
The manual calls for a 15 volt AC and 500ma supply. Locally, I’ve only been able to find 15 volt 1000ma (milli-amp) (One volt DC) wall warts. Will the additional half volt DC (or 500 ma) cause any damage to the turntable
controller and motor?
I’ve got a call/email in to Walthers but they sometimes take a few days to be able to get back to us so wanted to ask here one last time.
Anyone using a 15volt AC ONE (1,000 mv DC) wall wart on their 130’er with no problems for some period of time? If this is an issue, I’ll have to order and find something else online. The unit I purchased is a Radio Shack unit and checked out with 15.2 volts AC, max with a computer fan load on it.

The extra voltage will not affect anything. The extra Ma capacity won’t either. The 1000Ma is simply the maximum recommended current draw the wall wart can supply. Since the turntable only draws half of that, you will be good to go.

Ahhh…thank you Bruce. I knew that I had to check with a load for true voltage output, but didn’t know about that listing, being the maximum it could supply as opposed to it’s regular output. If that’s the case, my shopping is done at last! Thanks for responding.
