Following a way freight train along the HO scale Maumee Route
A great model simulation of what steam railroading was like back in the early 50’s ! One really gets the feel of “workin’ on the railroad” .
I have read the original article multiple times and find it very interesting both in operation and in the layout itself. Judging from other articles I have read about the Maumee it is really a great layout. Would Mr. Darnaby be agreeable to do an online layout tour similar to what Tony Keoster did recently? Also, I think a train order system would be very fun to operate.
