I discovered Caboose Hobbies in the early 80’s; never saw so much train stuff in my life; I literally would buy out the detail parts I was looking for. I made it back to Denver last summer for a conference, and spent a couple of hours and several hundred dollars one afternoon.

Since my son is attending Purdue, I get to go to Hawkins Rail Service in West Lafayette, IN. Mr. Hawkins has a lot of stuff, and part of the fun is going through boxes, drawers, and trays to find what you need. And he always has it.
