I read that one too. I cut it out of the newspaper and stuck it on my work bench.
Trevor
Wife clipped it for me, too.
good I don’t have a wife, and I’m not sending it too the girlfriend!!! no way, never hear the end of it, even have to get a metal safe for the MR issues, the cartoons in there… lost for words, but remember, Model Railroading Is FUN!
The cartoonist’s husband is a G-scaler. There have been train episodes in the past.
Ya, you’re right, I guess my mind was in a fog last night.
A G-scaler in Ontario to boot!
What I wanted to say is “There probably isn’t a person here who hasn’t said that at one time” [:D]

my wife and i sometimes look at houses for sale , most are rejected because of 1) no suitable space for her jewelery workshop 2) no room for my railroad . the most recent place we looked at had plenty of both , it was even less money that we’d get for selling our current house . we rejected it because of the location . it seems we’ve gotten spoiled living a 5 minute walk away from ‘little italy’ , ‘little portugal’ and ‘little korea/japan’ plus 2 movie theatres , great fruit and veg shopping etc.
cacole,
Besides being into G gauge, he also owns Riding Rail Kits, a manufacturer of 1" scale railroad equipment.
Bob Hayes
and has a large layout in said scale around his property - he was in MR not too long ago. And naturally his hobby features prominently in his wife’s comic strip.

As many of you know, I have all the model railroad space I can handle, and I’m divorced. But I can still relate.[swg]
Yea, good ol G gauge. outdoor model trains.
