Have you ever seen the Pacific News article on “The Baldwins on Vancouver Island” by Bob Turner? The reason I ask is because recently I purchased a number of back issues of Pacific News (Pacific Rail News), 1971 - 1977. I was going through them and when I saw this article I thought of you.

I don’t think I do. I do have Railfan & Railroad, Railway Quarterly and Rail Classics magazines with Bob Turner Vancouver Island articles. Conrail missed having DRS 4-4-1000s by one week. That would have been a sight to behold.
