Foreign Power Around Cleveland Ohio Area 2/9/10

http://www.railpictures.net/showphotos.php?userid=22038 These arn’t my pictures but I thought I would give a link to it because it seemed yesterday 2/9/10 around the Cleveland Ohio area like Berea and Euclid saw BNSF and SF Foriegn Power.

The caption says that these units are on NS’s Chicago line. NS uses BNSF power that must be run through power from trains coming east into Chicago. Here in the Lafayette Indiana area we see just as many BNSF ES44AC’s as we do NS SD70’s. So I imagine that these units are doing “Power by the Hour” miles. Where NS uses BNSF’s power in exchange for BNSF using NS’s power on there railroad.
