Former RF&P head calls for long-term planning for Virginia rail policy

When a former CEO of the RF&P has something to say, everyone better listen. The RF&P was a class act.

Virginia seems to understand what many others states should, that rail is the cheapest, safest way to move things and people in a spread out state. The Commonwealths transportation policy should be copied and used everywhere. And please triple track the NS main line through Va. that runs along I-81 and get some of those trucks off the road.

I really think they need to delete from the PRIIA that warpt provision requirinf states to provide all funding for state supported trains.
