I wrote a while back if any progress has been done to restore or revamp the T&P building, a few answered it was a stagnant deal at that point, Has anything changed up to this now? It’s one of the greatest art-deco buildings around (I hope ! !) I was told to write back in a year, so here I am , any (good) news, all (you-all) Texans out there? thanks, say--------any new photos of it ? ?
The hotel plan was scrapped, and it is currently being remodeled for offices and condos. A new apartment building is also under construction on the east side. I have not taken any pictures recently, but here is a good link to a few:
