Fostoria is having its annual railfest this saturday.There will be different displays located throughout town.Matt and I will probably be down at the B&O/NKP crossing or the C&O/NKP crossing.For more info go to FostoriaIrontriangle.com. Where is the best place to park for the event? I’ve never been in town for the festival and don’t know where a lot of places are unless their right around the tracks.

The event is saturday only.We usually park by the depot by the B&O/NKP diamond.Most everything is within walking distance of the depot(its on main st.)They have other parking lots about 3 blocks north of the diamond.

Finding out about the Saturday trainfest in Fostoria is great but the date is so close we can’t find a place to stay in or near Fostoria. Any ideas, anybody? We liked the Best Western on the N. side of Fostoria but it’s booked solid. Anyone braved the “Country Club Inn” lately? Or anywhere else in Fostoria?

They had some exhibits downtown and a train/swap meet at the high school.they also had shuttle busses between downtown and the high school.wasn’t to bad at all.
