there are other places to park and watch trains in deshler.you can get alot on the ns side and the C&O side from the area of the proposed park but I’m afraid the B&O side would be backlit.But anything they do is better than what is there now.

You meant Fostoria, not Deshler, right? I’m not familiar with street names there, but my favorite spot for watching the trains was near the C&O-NKP vertex of the triangle.
Not sure we could make it anyway; our vacation plans seem to be taking us north this year.
Are there any live Fostoria scanner feeds on the net? The fostorialive has been down for quite awhile. It sure was entertaining.
