Found a guy that makes awesome bridges

Doing my usual searches on E-Bay I ran across a man that makes the best bridges I have ever seen! He even makes them to your specifications! If you need a great bridge check him out. His handle on E-Bay is (train-collector-2000) No, I am not affiliated with him at all… The guy just makes some awesome bridges. [tup]

I make my own bridges using the bottom metal track that is used for metal studs that they use to make walls. you can buy long sections at home depot very reasonable . then i paint them and cut wooden beam work out of scrap wood on my table saw .

ON the serious side…No one wanted that beautiful 41 inch Atlas bridge, which is for two tracks. So, I was nice enough to take it from a close friend. It fit in perfectly. The steel bridge was purchased from 100 Year Bridge Co. for a very good price. It is 47 inches long. They both worked out beautifully on my new upper loop. I have never built a bridge, but I know a few guys who have done a great job. Both of them post on this Forum.

I bridged the gap on my layout with this plastic channel that comes with windows !! I’ve since painted it black & works real good. It holds my 15 pound Challenger !! I do suggest sometimes you can use something like this in a temporary situation, like if your building another bridge & still want to get the train through !!

Great idea! I always like to find train uses for ordinary stuff!
