Right now this locomotive is sitting on a storage track outdoors in Portola. Being a Milwaukee fan, I was always happy to see it,
but it did seem out of place at a Western Pacific museum. I hope the locomotive deal can be worked out to the benefit of both museums.

I’m assuming the unit would be displayed in South Cle Elum by the depot, right?

Hoorah for the CRF and their supporters. They are doing great work and have done a wonderful job restoring the depot. Anyone driving on I-90 on the east side of the Cascades should drop in and visit.
