Fox Valley Models B&O Wagon Top Boxcar
These cars are truely beautiful. I picked up 3 of the 1937 version at the last Houston train show in October. They do come as 3 numbers per paint scheme. The vendor had them in all the listed paint schemes and each was well executed.
It’s a treat to finally get a quality B&O M-53 boxcar. Now ExactRail has announced their version coming soon.
let’s see, fox valley now or exactrail later? or perhaps both?
I purchased one from Scott at Midwest Rail Junction in Rockford, Illinois. I’ve been waiting a long time for this car and plan to get several more. Excellent quality.
I purchased one at Hamilton Hobbys. I like the unique roof line of these cars.

John Restelli looking for B&O wagontop caboose in HO. They were available from the Pacific Mountain Shops in resin, BORHS actually had them in company store. Have gone under, don’t know how many kits are out there. WrightTrack Models is in the process of buying their molds, actually received email from Gary Wright inquiring as to my interest in these. They are working w/ BORHS and hope to be producing these sometime in the near future. I believe they will also be avail in the historical society’s co. store once again.
