Well after more than our share of visits from Murphy ( That’s gremlins for those who don’t know Murphy ) we had a good day yesterday. We fixed a Switch that was throwing some very sizeable sparks, and had 6 trains running in both directions on mainline number 1 for 5.5 hours, one large train on track 2, and 2 others on tracks 3-4. So 9 Lionel or MTH lead consist in constant motion. The only problems we had were when cars would decide to uncoupled themselves, despite being tied together with fine wire. We need to look into that. We had a good crowd despite it being the 1st real snow of the year, about 3-4 inches, and took in $40 in donations. Listening to the crowd they really enjoyed watching the trains stop and start on their own, and disappear in one section while another trains replaced it coming out of another tunnel. I promise to put up pictures this week. If anyone who is youtube savvy could come and get us on youtube we would really appreciate it. As always we are looking for active members or volunteers. We are leaning towards keeping track one as an automated self running track, but using track 2 mainline for command control, right now we are set up for TMCC. So if that interest you, or you can sway us towards DCS, please come visit us. Or please just come on in on a Sunday from Noon until 5 and say hi. We want to keep adding something new to see, so this week we hope to add some signals, a Banjo and a Semaphore, and Wally and His son are working on a seperate Christmas layout that will have a bunch of operating accesories, and the Polar Express and others. We are located in the Schuylkill Mall, Frackville, PA at the Intersection of I-81, and State Route 61. Thanks, Dave
