Frankenstein lives in my train room...

Hi gang.

With Halloween only a month away, I thought I’d get into the spirit of things by building a life size dummy of the original 1930s Boris Karloff monster. I ordered a mask, wig head and monster gloves off of eBay, bumbed a pair of old black steel toed work boots off of one of the guys at work and bought an old black suit and sweat shirt from Good Will, then built a 2X4 frame and padded it up with newspaper and tape, and wa la. Frankenstein… All in all I’d say I’ve probably got about $100.00 in it. The only problem is I don’t have any place else to put it right now except out in the train room. Oh well. I figure if anyone breaks in the building to steal something they’ll probably die of heart failure when they see the thing, so it’s like having a guard dog I don’t have to feed…

If you think this is odd, over the years I’ve built a life size Darth Vader, John Wayne, Tin Man from The Wizard Of Oz, etc. I’ve always had secret dream of working for a wax museum.

Nice!

I recall one gaurd dog… weighted three times mine and slobbers during work hours. But after that gate is locked… you will NEVER get to the fence before he does.
