Has anybody heard how George Sellios’ layout and business were affected by the flooding in Peabody, MA? (I tried searching on this topic without success.) I’d be heartbroken if either the layout or Fine Scale Miniatures was ruined. Seeing the layout once on a vacation was a highlight in my life for sure.
Well his layout and FSM workshop are on the second floor of the building, so I imagine the water would need to be fairly high to cause a problem.

Welcome to the forum.
Not only is the layout on the second floor, but George’s shop is located on fairly high ground. He wasn’t affected.

Thank goodness. No amount of insurance could make up for the thousands of man hours I’m sure George Selios has invested in his magnificent layout. I have a basement layout but fortunately I live on one of the highest points in my county so if I get flooded, it iwill be time to build an ark. My big concern is fire.
Kansaspacific,
I like the way you think, post when you feel it neccessary.
