Well done. Fraser Valley Heritage Railway Society! A fine station and an excellent rebuild of Car 1225. For a future idea of the complete rail line, see railforthevalley.com

It has not moved from Surrey. Both Cloverdale and Sullivan are in Surrey. The barn had been located at Sullivan. Its a 10 min drive between the two spots

Here in the states our local, state and federal governments have taught us that if we waste time, we make money. The Canadians (Canadiens) still seem to believe that if you waste time, you lose money, and they do not like that concept.

I believe the interurban, BCE No. 1225, was acquired from the Orange Empire Railway Museum at Perris, California. Looks like those Canucks have done a nice job on it!

Glad to learn of deployment of historic BCE Interurban out of Cloverdale. It brought fond memories – I grew up on a farm 3 miles east of Cloverdale, and between 1944 until service was terminated in early 1950s I rode the Interurban from Anderson Station on Latimer Road (now 192nd Ave.) to Cloverdale School. The worst day of my life was the first day of grade one in September 1944 when I lost the nickel my mother gave me for the fare home on the 3:20 Interurban – and the conductor wouldn’t let me on board, so I had to walk home (by myself) – swearing never to go to that school again. I look forward to riding the restored Interurban car when next visiting the West Coast. St-Lambert, Quebec
