I have four latching relays I will not be needing.
They work great. I just changed my layout plans and no longer need them. The control voltage is DC. It says 24v but I was using an old LifeLike HO transformer outputting about 16v and the relays worked great.
I had double pole double throw momentary toggle switches on my control panel. One side of the DPDT toggle would fire my turnout solenoids. At the same time, the other side of the DPDT would switch the DC current to the latching relay. In this way, I could change the lamps on external block signals from red to green and back. The relays hold their position when you remove power from your layout, so the next time you power up your layout, your signal lamps are still in the right position.
If anyone can use these send me a private message.
