Free xtrkcad software download ?

Hello,

I have been reading everyones comment about planning software and would like to try the xtrkcad but have been unable to find a website that I can download it with spyware/popups etc.

Where can I find a non contaminated version ?

Silub Technologies is the company, but their web page is sometimes screwy and doesn’t allow downloads.

http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?27000000038012 This might be the one that will do it for you. I got here by going to http://www.sillub.com/ and then clicking on the winsite link. Then do a search for xtrkcad and you get a download page. Hopefully the link works.

Thanks for your link – I have been searching all over the Internet and could never find a site from where XtraCAD could be downloaded, and your link goes directly to it.

You can also download it at the Yahoo! XTrkCad group, though you have to join first (you might ant to anyway). Wherever you get it don’t forget to do the free registration (info on the Sillub page) to enable everything.

My xtrkcad free download was for a maximun layout size of 4x8

If you had need for a different size you had to buy program. Opted to not buy!

There is nothing to buy. Just follow the directions halfway down the Sillub page to register XTrkCad for FREE and unlock its full functionality.

I guess I am on a different page or something! In the instructions it states that you are limited to 4x8 unless registered. If I try to register they want a check for $65. I registered with the registration number provided but was still limited to the layout size. Any hints?

Just under the first picture is a link for Registering XtrkCad.

In XtrkCad go to File, Register, and enter the info from above. (Make sure you use both the name and the number).

If that doesn’t work holler. You might need to get the latest version, or maybe someone has messed with the one you have.

Went back and registered again with same results. Still level 2 which is limited to 4x8

Don’t think I would use it anyway, just thought it would be interesting to play with.

Level 2 isn’t limited to 4x8. Just go to layout and change the size. You might need to download the latest, though, depending on how long ago you downloaded.
