Freight moving through the night.

On November 23, 2009 at 01:33, it’s getting cold outside, a fog is beginning to form in the Truckee River Canyon, and I’m standing just on the other side of the guard rail of Highway 80 in the dark of night. Fun times! I was left with this shot of an eastbound lighting up the reverse curves at Floriston, California on its way down the Donner Pass grades and into Reno and eventually Sparks, Nevada.

Great Shot!

I sure would have liked to see that in real life.

The light patterns are awesome. It had to be something you seen after the time lapsed photo was reviewed.

How did you place your signature in the upper left corner?

WOW! Fantastic shot, what a great location and scene. Nice exposure.
