Freight or passenger??

I was just wondering what type of train people like to model more! For me it is freights [:)][:D][8D][^] Tim

Love those long coal drags, B&O and WM of coarse.

i don’t know

hmm…

Freight.

You don’t see too many passenger trains running thru steel mills![swg]

Love the look of freight trains. The locomotives, the long strings of cars going through curves, the sight of trains moving slowly up hills.
Matthew

Both run on my railroad. Sometimes in the same train.

I didn’t vote because I like them both.
Enjoy

Both.

Passenger with a little mixed train or trolley freight.

Love interurbans

Trolleys

Doug, in Utah.

Definately freight. Well at least until I get some decent passenger cars to run. [:D]

Personelly i like running freight more [:D]

Both!

I love too look at the slow creeping head light of a freight train and looking at them and thinking “are they moving” and then in no time the train can come whooshing by you at 60 mph. they are amazing so i think u know what i say! Freight all the way!

I usually run both.

I’ll be runnin Ore by next year. 240 cars of it in one train.
Mitchell

Why should I want to model money losing passenger trains? No,all jokes aside I am building a C&0 passenger train based on the Sportsman of 1966…I will be using Athearn C&O passenger cars since I don’t want to spend a small fortune on passenger cars…

A realistic balance of both.

I like the color and variety of freight cars and mult-unit locomotive lashups, especially six axle brutes like SD45s, SD40-2s, and U36Cs.

But I also enjoy seeing a gorgeous E7 or E8 triple header hauling stainless steel Budd cars at speed.

Of course, with sound it’s all so much sweeter!

freight keep america running
