Freight Trains on the History Channel

It is just after 7 PM on Thursday the 3rd of Jan in the Central Time Zone, and the History Channel is having a Modern Marvels about Freight Trains.

I thought all of you might find it interesting. If you miss it, I think they normally replay it again about 3 hours later.

Thanks. I set the DVR to record it as I’ll be in bed in 3 hours.

I just watched it, again, for the fifth time. Thanks.

yeah, i just missed it. csi was on instead, but yeah ill watch tonite or tomorrow

Finished watching an hour ago. Well worth recording! Anyone catch the 230,000 railroaders killed in 20 years note before commercial? And we complain about a little lead in paint!!![:O]

What kind of engines were on the BNSF train negotiating the mountain pass. Also the death rate for the early railroads is hard to believe.

Thanks for the heads up.

Its on in so-cal right now.

That show is on again??!! Thats like 5 times in 2 months! Looks like with all the money those networks have they could flit the bill for some updated shows!

That ‘‘Voyages’’ series gets wayy too much airtime, the shows about cars are so totally boring as to put one to sleep, and the ships series is long on talk and short on substance! After you see the train series a few times you probably won’t watch it again, too much misinformation and not enough tech stuff. I prefer ‘‘Trains and Locomotives’’ on RFD, they don’t usually get into tech, but the videos are 100% better than the History channel.
