Freshing up scenery

Hello;

I have some ground foam scenery on my layout that despite vacuming has lost its color due to dust. I was wondering what is the best thing to bring it back to original nice and brite.

I haven’t tried this yet, but someone told me you can use WD-40 to rejuvenate ground foam. Just spray it on.

If you do this, I would like to know if it works.

I would try just a light misting of wet water before you do anything drastic like WD-40. If you’re going to try that, do it in a small area first.
