In the April 2010 issue of Model Railroader thay featured part 5 of 6 of the salt lake route I however missed parts 1, 2, 3, and 4 of the layout and the article of how to build it and what not. Is it possible to have the layout featured agean? I really want to build this layout and am upset that i missed parts up to 5.
There is a very simple solution to your problem. Order the missing magazines from Kalmbach. This is called a “back issue.”

Well for one thing, every year, MRM does a “build a layout” feature. You cal also order back issues from this link to fill the missing issues: http://www.kalmbachstore.com/modeltrains-railroading-model-railroading-magazines-model-railroader-magazine-back-issues-2000-prese.html#top. Also, I can guarantee that the series will not be reprinted.
They won’t reprint the series in the magazine. If you don’t order the back issues, wait a while and see if they put it in an Information Station PDF that you can buy.
If the series seemed popular, they might publish a companion book with most of the articles reprinted and expanded.
Check with your local library as well. They may have the issues and you can check them out to get the rest of the series. I have done this for many older projects.

Does anyone know where I can order the Noch foam rock face materials used in this series? I tired several sources but they all were out of stock. This may be as a result of the MR series? Peter Smith, Memphis

You might be able to purchase them through the website provided in the link, but you’ll probably pay a hefty amount in shipping since it would be coming from Germany. Keeping searching locally. The list of Global dealers on the Noch website would be a good place to start and searching for US dealers.
