Well, with the catenary moved east to Pelham, we can’t blame the kids, crossing over rooftops of the trains, for the outage in Mount Vernon. We had a lot of them, when I lived in New Rochelle. Crispy-Critter-Classmates!
Given the size, scope and age of the system which historically has been deprived of the level of capital funding necessary, I am often surprised at how smoothly things run generally and how quickly MTA recovers from the major (and minor) problems which inevitably occur.
