Anyone have any experience with Full steam ahead kits? I’m really having trouble figuring out their web site. can’t tell what kits are available & what the cost is. I think some are paper, but not sure??
Hi
It might be helpful if you provided an active link to their site.
Is this to whom you refer?:

YES this is the site.
Never heard of 'em until your inquiry. But their web site says “Custom Wooden Model Railroad Kits” so they’re not paper.
They’re paper…just in its raw form. [(-D]

I liked the video on their site, it’s a nice looking layout.
I also like the look of some of their kits. I wish there was a list somewhere that listed all of the smaller more obscure companies out there. I usually just come across them by accident.

It appears that available kits have a “Buy It Now” under the kit listing/photos. No button, the kit is not available.
Laser cut wood kits. Very good instructions. I have built three kits from Full Steam Ahead and recommend them.
Very few of the kits on the website are available. The owner only releases a few kits each year. Contact him directly to determine availabilty.

Just asking because one of the background kits are available in 3 colors of paper & stripwood for the loading platform.
I have built a couple of their kits. They used to package them in a wooden laser etched box, a very nice presentation. I was impressed with the instructions. They are on par with any of the better makes of laser kit.
Their address fails to mention in which country they are located, they are located in a country called Canada eh!
