My 4x8 is a test layout and today i have looked to the future. My new Layout is the Southfork Secondary, a secondary that carries coal in western Pennsylvania. Like my 4x8 it will be a coal hauling layout, with the local industries. But it is a 4X15 layout, wih staging underneath the layout. The layout is 4ft at the helix down to the staging yard, and after the helix it goes to 3ft, then goes back to 4ft .

Looks good Tj. I like that area as well. Are you familiar with the Manor Branch that serves the Bailey Mine? I see lots of photos at a location called Time,PA that might be fun to recreate. Both NS and CSX work this line.
You can see that? My eyes must be shot.
I’m with you Spacemouse. Even with my Tri-Focals I still can’t make out any detail or printing even when I got close to the screen. I wish that there was a set size that the pictures would show at. I personally find that when the pictures are about 1/3rd. the size of the screen they show reasonable definition that I can make out. It is even better when they are 1/2 screen or a little larger. I can make out so much more detail the larger the picture is. I do realize that it would make the downloads slower for those with Dial-up, but it would make it so much easier for us blind old F***S. [8D]
