G&W reports Q2 drop in traffic
There is a reason the class one’s shed rail lines and G&W is starting to learn why also.
Not necessarily, Lawrence…if you’ve been paying attention, Class 1 traffic has also been down in Q2, so this is an industry wide trend, and is typical for this time of year…it’s “off season”, so to speak, for freight. Let’s see what Q3 does before suggesting G&W took over any lines that weren’t good, remember, U.S. traffic was on the rise until Q1.
All these type of stories point to one thing. The economy is not recovering.
