In the March 2004 issue of MR the HO scale Galloping Goose from Con-Cor was reviewed. In the article, a price was quoted for a model equiped with a Soundtraxx decoder. I have been unable to find the railbus offered for sale this way. Does anyone have a lead as to where one may be procured?

The Soundtraxx chips for the Goose factory sound installation were an exclusive for Con-Cor and not separately available.
I can’t remember where I heard this and exactly why it was, but Caboose Hobbies in Denver was supposed to have acquired a few of the chips – probably the over-run left over after Con-Cor’s needs were satisfied. If you get stuck, you might inquire with Caboose in case my memory on this is correct and they still have one.
