Gargraves Track in Lego Layouts?

http://www.gargraves.com/ makes custom order track for g and other gauges. Would there be a problem with Lego plastic flanges on O scale and G Gauge Track? It seems that Lego trains have a wider tread.

Here is one guy’s recipe for making Lego track from Atlas track: http://users.erols.com/kennrice/flextrack.htm

I would say to take your Lego to the hobby store or a friend’s house and try the Lego train on the GarGraves track before you purchase any GarGraves track and see how it does. Special order track is usually not returnable for money back.

I think that Lego gauge is somewhat wider than O. The rails seem to be spaced 5 Lego posts, or 40 millimeters, on centers. With a 3 millimeter allowance for rail width, this would be about 5 millimeters wider than O gauge. (Is this what the original poster meant by “a wider tread”?) So I suspect that it would not be possible to test the track.

I meant the width of the railhead itself
