Hey Gang, So a family member has asked if I could give some photo advice to her friend and I’ve agreed to help out as best I can. I’m starting to lay out some “lessons” and was wondering if there would be interest for me to post them here as well. You know you will get some good feedback, or at least I think you would. Probably even more wordy than the usual “Wow!” to your pictures provided by those of us who are not just dumbstruck from the images.

Thanks, all. I started working on the outline of the first lesson last night. I hope to have the lesson posted in the next day or two.
While I’m never averse to giving “helpful advice” to photographers, if someone thinks I think I’m an expert, they’re dead wrong. There’s always room for learning and improving.

In spite of owning a good quality DSLR there’s nothing wrong with my photos that Photoshop or the delete button won’t fix. Capable help is always appreciated.
