Does anybody know what happened to all the GBW cabooses after WC acquired them? I used to live just east of Plover just off GBW’s mainline and watch their trains from '91 until the takeover and subsequent removal of the rails (I even got to take a short ride on the track removal train). After the acquisition I spotted a few in Wisconin Rapids and Stevens Point but that’s been a while now. I know one has been donated to Plover’s Heritage Park for display in front of the old Bancroft depot, do any of the others still exist?
GBW 114 remains in service in Manitowoc, WI. It was repainted in yellow with a WC shield and restencilled GBW 114! Used three times a week for the backup move on the former CNW up to Rockwood, WI.
