GE on fire (parody)

Here is the song some of you were expecting in the “Fire in the hole!” thread. I have two versions.

GEs are burning things
And they make fiery rings
Bound by a trainmaster’s wild desire
I fell into a ring of fire

I fell into a burning ring of fire
I fell down, down, down
And the exhaust flame went higher
It burns, burns, burns
That GE on fire, that GE on fire

A consist like this is sweet
Until fuel and exhaust gases meet
When I put the throttle in notch seven
That GE went to locomotive heaven

I fell into a burning ring of fire
I fell down, down, down
And the exhaust flame went higher
It burns, burns, burns
That GE on fire, that GE on fire

GEs are the burningest
And they make for a fiery consist
Bound by a trainmaster’s wild desire
I fell into a consist of fire

I fell into a burning locomotive of fire
I fell down, down, down
And the exhaust flame went higher
It burns, burns, burns
That GE on fire, that GE on fire

A consist like this is sweet
Until fuel and exhaust gases meet
When I put the throttle in notch seven
That GE went to locomotive heaven

I fell into a burning locomotive of fire
I fell down, down, down
And the exhaust flame went higher
It burns, burns, burns
That GE on fire, that GE on fire

Didn’t your mother ever teach you about playing with matches?

Everytime I tried, mine put me “On The Road Again”. (ouch)

Jim …

On my way West from Sandpoint (again) this week, while on US 395, saw headlights under a large black plume. Swore to my wife that the BN was running those SPS ALCO’s again. Nope. Was 3 Toasters burning the bread with a grain train (empty) heading East.
