I have just purchased an old General Models ten-wheeler kit (loco only- I’ll have to find a tender) on EBay. Why did I do this when I’m an HO gauge modeler, and don’t have a single piece of scale “O”? I think it was the looks of that big brass boiler casting, and all those stamped brass and die-cast pieces. I thought it would be a challenge to screw, rivet and solder all those pieces together into a recognizable loco. And I am aware that parts for this loco are available. So does anyone on this forum still work with these old, obsolete kits? Regards- Richard
