General Power and Light

Exterior: Korber Hit

Coal Conveyor: AlreadyInUse Kit

Interiors: AlreadyInUse Kits

That is just wonderful! I can not exclaim how much I want to do stuff like that.

AWESOME X 10 !

We had a power plant very similar to this where I live, but on a smaller scale. The small section of the plant housed the steam driven electric generators and was next to the coal burning furnaces. However, this is a very nice model and a nice construction job.

That is very nice. I wanna build something like that for my layout. Very very nice! Well done.

Have a question for you where did you get the interior for the kit and how did you get the windows to fit in the larger walls they don’t seem to fit very well

I’m looking at putting some spacers around them to make them fit better thanks

AlreadyinUse… you mean the exterior was scratchbuilt?

The inteiors and conveyor were scratch built (AlreadyInUse kit).

No, the windows don’t fit well at all. You’ll need to add material to the edges. They’re styrene, so it’s pretty easy, just a little time consuming. A couple of the roofs didn’t fit well either. I made my own out of .060 styrene. You should also add extra bracing; the structure is quite heavy. I added a floor (for my interior) with bracing. Using 5 minute epoxy and some large rubber bands, assembling and squaring the walls was easy with the floor and roof in place.

No, the exterior is a Korber kit. The conveyor, conveyor house and interiors were scratch built.
