Genesee and Wyoming locomotive paint colours

Greetings all. New poster coming to you all the way from Sydney, Australia!

I am seeking the prototype colours and the paint used on locomotives owned by the Genesee and Wyoming, which is the prominent Orange and Black lining livery. I’m mainly after what avaliable model paints (Floquil, Humbrol, Revell, etc) which would represent the orange and black used on these locomotives.

My purpose for this query is that I’m in the process of painting a few model Australian prototype locomotives which represent the operator Australian Railroad Group (ARG), formerly owned by a consortium half of whom was Genesee and Wyoming. I can’t help you with the paint but thanks for the info. I didn’t know that the ARG had the same paint scheme as the G and W. Huron Central also had the same paint design as well as a few other’s owned by the G and W. It is one of my favorites.
