Does anyone know where I can buy the smoke generators for the Genesis Challenger from athearn? I know it’s Seuthe #9 it uses, but I can’t find it anywhere.
I don’t want to throw a fly in the ointment, but do you really WANT smoke from an HO-scale locomotive? It comes out thin and wispy and looks like someone stuck a cigarette down the stack, and in order to get even a decent amount of smoke, you have to run the loco at almost full power constantly. Two things that don’t seem to scale down well at all–real smoke and real water. Just a thought.
