Genesis F unit coupler pocket screws

Has anyone figured out how to keep the coupler pocket screws from loosening? I have tried putting a drop of white glue on them but they keep coming out causing the couplers to droop with resulting uncoupling of the units. Suggestions please!

Instead of plain white glue, try Elmer’s Craft Bond, or a similar craft glue. These have additives to make them flexible. I’m betting that the reason the plain Elmer’s doesn’t work is that it is rigid and breaks off instead of flexing.

I use nail polish.

Arjay1969 and steemtrayn,

Do you put the glue/nail polish in the screw hole, on the screw or elsewhere?

I’ve never used nail polish, so I couldn’t say on that one, but with the glue, I put a tiny amount (about a 1mm-diameter drop) on the threads themselves. It’ll act like threadlock, but you’ll still be able to back the screw out if you need to.
