Does anyone know if the newer runs of fGenesis F’s body’s will swap with older runs of Genesis F’s. I seem to think I read somewhere that Athearn changed the way they are mounted at some point in the production line.

According to info on Athearn’s website, it appears that the “modernized” versions of the F units have “Screw mounted Chassis”. Not sure what that means exactly in terms of shell changes. Old shells were more or less a friction fit so if shells are now screw mounted it would seem that some additional interior shell work would have had to be added.
I have some highliner shells and I would be interested to know also.
