Well im off for 2 weeks to Germany tomorrow. I have my list of German Hobby shops and will be doing some rail travel to and some railfanning over there.
Summer vacation is always something to look forward to.

Have a great time. Are you going to be in Austria at all? If so, the train ride from Salzburg to Innsbruck via Zell am Zee is just spectacular! And if it’s still running, there’s a delightful metre-gauge railway in Zell-am-Zee that travels a beautiful Alpine valley. Lots of wonderful railroading in Germany and Austria. And don’t forget to eat lots and lots of Swartzwald Kirchtorte. Yummy!
