Ive noticed a lot of short trains running on CSX and NS.are we specializing or brining what the other train forgot?

I saw a couple of CSX units dragging a string of empty hoppers “through Uncle Pete’s backyard” last Sunday. Not many cars, maybe 40, heading west in Minnesota. Strange to say the least.[alien][alien][alien][:P][:)]

2 engines and 18cars thats it.but the ones turning on the wye at deshler were alot longer.

I see all lengths on the Montreal Secondary. I’ve seen the “regular” trains with 30 or so, but saw one the other day with over 100. Depends on the day…
