Hey so I was online today and read up on the Amazon Smile program. You can designate your favorite charity and a small portion of your purchases will be donated to your favorite charity. Well I found out on their list of charities the Illinois Railway Museum was listed so I selected that. So now a small portion of my future total purchases will go to the Illinois Railway Museum as a donation. I think it is a good program but you have to purchase from the www.amazonsmile.com website it says. Not sure why the seperate website and I really did not read into the program or do price compares to see if I was paying more for what I was purchasing as I don’t make a lot of purchases from Amazon.
Thought I would bring to everyones attention because these type of affiliate programs are a painless way to get some of you to donate money to some of these museums that maybe financially hurting during this time of everyone being a shut-in.
