I’d like to congradulate everyone on how they handled this weekend’s troll attacks. Well done. Troll feeding was kept to a minimum, and in some cases, not at all. Good job people!

I wasn’t around much this weekend, which is unusual for me, but I did see that Big Al had paid us a visit.
Is it just me, or is he starting to mellow? He really is a good modeler if he could just keep his language and attitude in check. It seems to be a big game for him to sneak in here on the weekends. I wish he would just learn to play nice, then Bergie might let him stay.
Somebody tried to resurrect an old thread titled “MTH prevails” [in the Lionel lawsuit] and basically sneered at us, he got 'DNFTT’d.
My battered old hat’s off to you folks! That was indeed well handled this weekend. I think our weekend visitor wants attention and maybe some acceptance, judging by his posts. Not all of them were controversial or trollish. But then, I’m no psychiatrist. I’m just a modeling fanatic!
I noticed several troll post, and more than one troller, most of them got the ‘DNFTT’ or just ignored completely.
Come to think of it, I did see that too. There are some old topics that are worthy of locking after the fact, to prevent them from coming back for further discussion and ultimately troll bait.
When you see this type of thing, the best thing to do is copy the topic URL from your browser, and place it in an email to Bergie asking him to lock it. 99% chance he will. It may not happen instantly on weekends, so we just need to not “step in it” while it’s out there.

He’s also posting on the Atlas forum, offering to give away things - buying friends it looks like to me. I may be one of the few who remember his antics earlier in the year on this forum, sneaking in late at night when the moderator wasn’t online, and posting all kinds of vile racist stuff (which I have a copy of).
