Gluing insulfoam to plywood?

Will liquid nails work to glue insulating foam to plywood?

Some folks suggest ‘projects’ Liquid Nails glue. I have use Loctite PL300 which is safe for foam.

LIONS always use silicone caulk, although for that a latex caulk will do just as well.

Inexpensive latex caulk works fine. Just double check to be sure the product you are using, if it is not straight laytex caulk, is foam compatible. Some Liquid Nails products are, some aren’t.

Good luck,

Richard

I have used both PL300 and caulk and both work fine. But since then I have discovered these. If you think that someday you might want to save your foam without damage they might be worth considering.

Thanks for all the quick replys i’ll probably go with the liquid nails. Need to make a trip to my local lumber yard and pick up a couple of tubes.
