GM vehicle listings deleted at Model Power

I was checking the Model Power web site and noticed the listings for all the General Motors models are gone.

Among other things, it means the 1969 Olds 442, 1969 Camaro convertible, 1955 Chevy Bel Air, 1953 Cadillac Eldorado, and 2002 Pontiac Firebird are now on the endangered models list.

The Camaro, Corvette, Eldorado, Firebird and Bel Air were offered in the Malibu line but the 442 was a Model Power exclusive. There still should be a reasonable number to be found at a hobby shop or in Wal-Mart, so you might want to pick them up. As I understand it, General Motors has cancelled all of High Speed’s GM licenses, so High Speed can’t make any more for either Model Power or Malibu.

As of today, Walthers shows the following in stock:

1953 Cadillac Eldorado, black with red interior
1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, yellow
1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS, red
1969 Oldsmobile 442, gold/black stripes
1969 Oldsmobile 442, white/gold stripes
1969 Oldsmobile 442, red/black stripes
1957 Chevrolet Corvette, red/white accent
1957 Chevrolet Corvette, blue/white accent
1957 Chevrolet Corvette, yellow/white accent
2002 Pontiac Firebird convertible, black
2002 Pontiac Firebird convertible, gold

None of the 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air sedans show to be available.
